If your U.S. institution does not translate them for you, visit either www.ece.org or www.wes.org for more information. Once they are translated, submit the international transcripts along with a copy of the translation.
How is financial need determined?
As a part of the application process, applicants are asked to submit the Student Aid Report (SAR) which they receive after successful application for the Free Applications for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Applicants are also asked to write a personal statement of financial need. Need is determined by what a family can reasonably be expected to pay, given their particular financial circumstances, compared to the cost of the post-secondary institution. Awards are based on a percentage of calculated financial need, not a percentage of the total school or college expense. Because of this, scholarship award amounts may differ from student to student.
How will good moral character be determined?
A search will be conducted through the applicant’s state of public safety crime records service before any scholarship is awarded. Likewise, required letters of recommendation from other individuals on behalf of the applicant will be investigated.
